Spay/Neuter
Saves Money

When pregnant or nursing, a female dog or cat eats 2-3 times as much as normal, plus the feeding of the babies when they're weaned. It's far cheaper to have her spayed before her first litter.

Male dogs and cats will spray indoors, costing you money to clean, or, if outdoors, get into fights costing vet bills higher than the cost of the very simple neutering operation.

Reducing pet overpopulation also saves taxpayer money -- millions are spent anually to care for lost abandoned and unwanted pets.
